Fiddle Class
8 Week Sessions run in the Fall

Monday Evenings from 6:00-6:50
What is Fiddle Class?
In Fiddle Class, students learn a minimum of four new tunes of varying keys and styles per session. Students are given the opportunity to create medleys, harmony and arrange sets. Students get the chance to explore a variety of percussion instruments as well as learn some step dancing!
The Suzuki Method and Fiddle Music go hand in hand since both are primarily taught and learned by ear. Given the simplistic structure and repetitive patterns of most fiddle tunes, fiddle music can also aid in providing a great foundation for sight reading and theory which is beneficial for any musician.

Fiddle class works to put on a live show at a local retirement home at the end of each session. This is an incredible opportunity to perform and give something back to the community.
Fiddle Class is available to registered Private Violin & Group Class Students playing Book 1 Etude & up.
